Good Afternoon Red Jacket Staff and Families:
You may have had the opportunity to hear Governor Cuomo's latest press conference today, where he is requiring schools to post three new plans related to reopening by August 21st. We are providing you with drafts of our three plans as we value your input. Schools are also required to host three opportunities for parents (which will be open to all staff) and one opportunity for teachers to engage in discussions about these plans:
1) Testing for COVID-19
2) Contact Tracing
3) Remote Instruction
The information from these plans came from our District's Reopening Plans and in consultation with the Ontario County Department of Health. Please take some time to read them and develop questions. I encourage you to email us at [email protected] with any questions you have and we will be sure to address them during the Zoom meetings.
The Zoom meetings are scheduled as follows:
Parent Zoom Meeting #1: Monday, August 10th, 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Parent Zoom Meeting #2: Thursday, August 13th, 3:00pm - 4:00pm
Parent Zoom Meeting #3: Thursday, August 13th, 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Teacher Zoom Meeting: Friday, August 14th, 10:00am - 11:00am
Zoom meeting links will be provided in a separate post on Monday morning by 10:00am.
