RJ Junior, Johnny Piermarini, Secures Prestigious Univ. of Rochester Internship

Junior Johnny Piermarini of Red Jacket High School has been selected for a coveted paid internship at the University of Rochester's Laboratory for Laser Energetics. This opportunity will see Piermarini conducting experiments with cutting-edge technology, including the world's second-largest omega laser. Guided by an experienced engineer, he will undertake a research project, leading to published reports and presentations to scientific communities.

Motivated by his passion for science and a desire to enhance his transcript, Piermarini seized the opportunity after learning about it from Mrs. Jessica Hemenway, his science teacher.
