Red Jacket Senior Completes Finger Mosaic Collective Project at FLCC

Red Jacket senior Wyatt DeCann recently completed a year-long project through the Finger Mosaic Collective at Finger Lakes Community College (FLCC).

The Finger Mosaic Collective gives students the chance to work on real projects for local businesses, organizations, and college departments. Through the program, students gain hands-on experience while building important skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and professional collaboration.

This year, Wyatt worked on a project called Customer Feedback. His goal was to analyze information from current and prospective students to better understand what factors influence college admissions and student retention.

Using both survey data and feedback from students, Wyatt examined what attracts students to a college and what encourages them to stay enrolled. His findings were presented during the program's final presentation event and shared with FLCC President Dr. Robert Nye.

By participating in the Finger Mosaic Collective, Wyatt gained valuable real-world experience while contributing to an important project for the college.
