3D Printing Club Fostering Creativity
The Red Jacket 3D Printing Club launched in October, thanks to 8th grader Jacob Garling and teacher Mr. Christopher Hall. With a newly acquired 3D printer, students at Red Jacket Middle School could finally turn their ideas into reality.
Using TinkerCad, a computer program, students design and create their projects before printing them. The club isn't just about making things; it's about building computer skills and unleashing creativity.
Jacob Garling, one of the club's leaders, reflects on his growth: "This club has helped me become a better leader. I've learned a lot about running a successful club."
Meeting weekly, the club provides a space for students to explore and innovate. As they continue to experiment, they inspire their peers and create a culture of creativity within the school community.
