At Manchester-Shortsville (fondly known as Red Jacket) we embrace our mission statement and work together to develop productive citizens who work hard to excel in all they do. Although we are a small school, we strive to bring a variety of opportunities to our students that include AP & Gemini courses, a strong arts program, and clubs that engage our students in areas they are passionate about.

As we implement the common core standards, we are experiencing significant changes in the NYS assessment program and are working hard to create programs that meet the needs of all learners. We credit our strong teaching staff, administration and community for the many successes achieved by Red Jacket students!
