WHO WE ARE
& WHAT WE DO
The outcomes class is a life-skills based program that incorporates many core academic areas such as; English, Math, Social Studies and Science. In the area of life-skills students partake in a variety of different courses; Recreation & Leisure, Career Planning/Transition Skills, and Work-Study, not to mention they participate in many of the typical elective courses. In the 2010-2011 school year the outcomes class has worked extensively in the Work-Study Program which includes such activities as; the breakfast cart, cafeteria clean-up, volunteering in the library and working in the Red Jacket greenhouse. The class also volunteers at Clifton Springs Hospital, Our Children's Place and Sandy's Floral Gallery in Clifton Springs, New York which allows them to explore careers of interest, develop relationships and work on various job skills in preparation for the transition from high school to adult life.
