Points of Pride

Manchester Shortsville School District has Excellent Students and Staff

The Red Jacket community can be especially proud of the quality of education the students are receiving. Our students continue to exceed our mission of achieving high standards. Our administrators and instructional staff continually review, update and align the K-12 curriculum with state standards. Ongoing professional staff development allows our staff to maintain a high level of readiness to address the needs of 21st century learners. Our teachers are working together to implement RtI and the newly adopted Common Core Standards. Our support staff continues to acquire, develop, and refine their skill and performance levels to address new mandates, doing more with less, and implementing new State and Federal regulations to assure meeting and exceeding state and local expectations, and maximizing every funding dollar.

We are proud to be able to provide a quality instructional program for our communities’ children who are college and career ready. Here is a list of a few items we accomplished last year.
