Don't remember too much on this day. I helped clear off Mrs. Dawson's billboard. Got snack ready for the kids after that, then handed out folders. William (in previous posts, has been my schoolwork buddy) has been doing great on his own :) great job!!!

Was helping out a lot; Helping do snack, round the kids up for group lessons, hand out folders to them to put away, zipped them up. When I zipped up Dylan's jacket, he made a comment I was embarrassed about and shocked about. His words "nice boobs."

Being honest, I don't remember exactly what we did, but I believe I drew eggs on the smart board for the kids to try and copy.

Day 5
At 2:30 p.m, I helped everyone with an art project. We got a big piece of paper and I drew a big heart on it. I painted the kids' hands with red glitter paint and they put their hand prints all around the heart. The kids had a fun time.

Day 4-
At 2:30 p.m, I helped William out with his work. I got him to color and I also colored with him. He is starting to feel comfortable with me. I shall call him my school work buddy! We high-fived to it!

Day 3-
At 2:30 p.m, I showed off my art work to the children. I even showed my art kit. They were absolutely amazed by what I showed them. I explained what it was and how I did it. I showed them how to use oil pastels. They loved it. I hope to bring my art kit in again some time and do a project with them. They would learn a lot.

Day 2-
At 2:30 p.m, I got switched to Mrs. Dawson's room. I am now helping out with a kindergarten class. This little boy, William, in particular needs help and I'm the one to help him. I helped him catch up on his work a little today. He is a wonderful kid. He just needs some motivation and I'm there to give him some.

Day 1-
At 11 o'clock, I started my first day of community service in Mr. Cleveland's art room. The students were kindergarteners and were a rambunctious group at that. They had a lot of talent, but liked to yell. They did their work and participated well. I couldn't match names to faces if I were to be quizzed on names and the students themselves. It was an adventure with this group. Although, my first time went rather well.
At 2:30 p.m, I continued my first day in Mr. Cleveland's art room. This group was 2nd graders. A wonderful young group of kids. I drew with them and showed them how to draw some things. They also drew me pictures and made me a snowflake. I enjoyed this group very much. I talked with Mr. Cleveland about what I'm doing with my life and about colleges. He gave me suggestions and we compared our interests in art. I had a fun time in his classes.
